Local Walks

Here are some interesting local walks around Merrickville, with maps or guides: keep an eye out for spring flowers, birds, frogs and just enjoy the fine spring air.

Hiking the Rideau: this website, developed by Ken Watson, is a wonderful source of information and maps on places to visit and explore along the whole Rideau Corridor. Have a look at it here:   http://www.rideau-info.com/canal/hiking/index.html.

Check out the Brochures Page of this website and   Community Histories Section   for many fascinating walks and hikes. They are the main source of documentation for our trails outings.
